HBCU-PWIs, I have attended both and according to the video my experiences are both. My preference is HBCU hands down. As mentioned motivation and determination is according to the student, however, the social relationships with students and professors I remembered on an HBCU campus was a life changing experience for the better. I have a Graduate degree from a PWI but I am not employed in my field of study, because as I was told the higher your education, the more discrimination you will endure. I had more employment opportunities offered with a two year degree than I have with a Master degree.
