How will you make an impact?
By being a part of the general assembly of Thermo Fisher responsible for maintaining quality by properly and safely handling the product, using customer-focused distribution products within a distribution center.
What will you do?
Processes orders according to the priority set by Supervisor/Group Lead in order to meet customer requirements.
Receive, pick, packages, and label products for domestic and international shipment according to the Distribution SOP and work instructions.
Maneuvers picking carts or powered industrial trucks to various locations throughout the Distribution Center to locate materials and fulfill orders.
Completes paper documentation requirements as outlined by Distribution SOP’s.
Utilize RF Scanners to perform inventory transactions.
Follow and apply standard work best practices.
Engage in cross-training to perform all warehouse functions.
Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction including maintaining sufficient.
How will you get here?
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
General Warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Work in multiple tempered environments on a regular basis
Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
Ability to constantly stand and move around the department, required.
Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.
Intermediate problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills to interact with Shipping Software and ERP programs
Proficient computer skills required for inventory maintenance.
Advanced problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
Proven to work well in a team environment
