How will you make an impact?

By being a part of the general assembly of Thermo Fisher responsible for maintaining quality by properly and safely handling the product, using customer-focused distribution products within a distribution center.

What will you do?

• Processes orders according to the priority set by Supervisor/Group Lead in order to meet customer requirements.
• Receive, pick, packages, and label products for domestic and international shipment according to the Distribution SOP and work instructions.
• Maneuvers picking carts or powered industrial trucks to various locations throughout the Distribution Center to locate materials and fulfill orders.
• Completes paper documentation requirements as outlined by Distribution SOP’s.
• Utilize RF Scanners to perform inventory transactions.
• Follow and apply standard work best practices.
• Engage in cross-training to perform all warehouse functions.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction including maintaining sufficient.

How will you get here?

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
• General Warehouse experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Work in multiple tempered environments on a regular basis
• Must be able to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must be able to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to constantly stand and move around the department, required.
• Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.
• Intermediate problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills to interact with Shipping Software and ERP programs
• Proficient computer skills required for inventory maintenance.
• Advanced problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
• Proven to work well in a team environment
