The Assistant Merchant for Global Women’s Bottoms will support the overall execution of assigned global product categories (eg, Fashion Bottoms, Shorts, Skirts..), ensure data accuracy and sample management. You will report to the Director Merchandising, Levi’s® Global Women’s Bottoms.

About the Job

• Ensure data-entry integrity and maintenance of seasonal product integrity in product management systems (PLM)
• Be responsible for samples management and organization for assigned global product categories
• Contribute to some aspects of Product Development activities (finish reviews, costing reviews..)
• Act as a conduit of information, materials and samples to regions and cross-functional teams
• Create and maintain line plans and communicate plans with key cross-functional business partners
• Assist Merchants with preparation for product performance reviews and sell-out reports
• Assist with targeted consumer and competitor research via market shopping and fashion publications 

About You

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred
• 2+ years of experience in apparel merchandising recommended
• Strong knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills across teams and levels 
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
• Passion for product and the consumer
