The Internal Support Administrator will provide exceptional service, support, and leadership for Learning Experience at the Tempe campus. This involves working closely with faculty and students to ensure that their teaching and learning experience exceeds expectations. Successful candidates will have demonstrative knowledge of technology trends and pedagogical practices in education, experience providing operational excellence, and a passion for customer service.

$49,300 - $61,364 per year; DOE
Implements, maintains, and improves upon administrative processes for classroom and site operations
Recruits, screens, hires, and onboards student employees based on established procedures
Manages training curriculum and oversees training program
Builds work schedules and processes payroll for student employees
Manages and maintains automated security protocols for physical access to classrooms and sites
Develops and fosters collaborative relationships with faculty, vendors, and key stakeholders
Researches and evaluates tools to improve classroom and computing site operations
Provides recommendations for the implementation and installation of computer hardware and multimedia equipment
Performs advanced troubleshooting on computer, multimedia controller, hardware, software, video conferencing, and network equipment
Assumes or coordinates other duties as assigned or directed.
Takes responsibility for fostering culture, advancing our values, and championing engagement in all its forms -- collaborating across our teams as well as participating in UTO/ASU events and programs. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or closely related field AND 4 years providing instructional technology diagnostic and trouble-shooting support; OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved. Certificates from recognized programs that indicate mastery of tools and techniques relevant to the assignment may substitute for up to 6 months' experience.
Experience working in a leadership role, with an emphasis on managing others, coaching for performance, and resolving conflicts
Experience working with internal groups and outside vendors to collaborate on projects, problem solve, or design solutions to technical issues
Experience providing excellent service to a diverse customer base, preferably in an educational setting
Experience working with and evaluating the latest classroom technologies
Experience providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and training for classroom technologies
Ability to explain technical concepts in non-technical terms to diverse stakeholder groups: faculty, students, staff, and administrators
Evidence of effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
Experience with implementing ASU Student Employment best practices
In-depth knowledge of and experience with the following applications: Infinite Brassring, TimeClock Plus, PeopleSoft, Lenel OnGuard, and ServiceNow
Ability to model empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence
Experience working and hiring in a values-led organization, emphasizing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging

Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking; frequent physical demands may include stooping, bending, crawling under/around objects, reaching, lifting and pushing objects of varying weights up to and over 100 pounds.
