Business Relationship Support Specialist (Treasury Operations)

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Relationship Support Specialist in Commercial Banking as part of the Commercial Capital Treasury Operations team within the Wholesale Lending Operations division.  Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify opportunity for process improvements within the portfolio
  • Verify compliance and report identified issues for resolution
  • Make decisions on complex customer issues
  • Partner with managers to resolve issues and provides status updates on implementations
  • Develop expertise in the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Handle complex customer issues which include escalation and resolution
  • Lead team and serve as a subject matter expert for the department
  • Train and mentor less experienced team members
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with internal customers and bank partners
  • Receive direction from leaders
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualification:

  • 2+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of payment processing, including Fed Wire, International SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) wires and ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments
  • Experience with the check payments process in the U.S. and Canada
  • Experience with General Ledger, Cash Forecasting and/or worked for an Inventory Financing company.
  • Treasury experience
  • An active Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services or treasury function operations
  • Experience working with AIMS (Access & Identity Management System) and/or LUCAS (Loan Underwriting Collateral Analysis System) systems
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team and ensuring all Treasury Operations processes assigned meet critical deadlines
  • Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Experience in FX (Foreign Exchange) transactions processing
  • Reviewing and managing domestic/international bank accounts
  • Ensuring adherence to department and corporate policies and procedures
  • Ability to work with daily deadlines in a fast-paced environment
