Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant in Corporate Risk as part of Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM). SERM is a group directly under the Chief Risk Officer that is responsible for a variety of strategic functions within Corporate Risk that includes risk reporting, risk governance, risk programs that oversee risk measurement and risk identification, strategic and reputational risk oversight, and risk optimization and strategy. As part of the Data Visualization & Analytics team within SERM, the Senior Risk Analytics Consultant will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and execution of advanced analytic capabilities for use across the various corporate risk oversight teams.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics

• Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models

• Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance

• Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements

• Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals

• Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff

• Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies

Required Qualifications, US:

• 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• 3+ years of Tableau experience

• Ability to create dashboards and reporting  

• 3+ years of SQL experience

• Knowledge and understanding of Risk Programs

• Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task

• Ability to develop operational reporting and performing complex data analysis

• Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data

• Experience in building partnerships, collaborating and influencing at senior levels, across lines of business as well as with corporate partners
