Marketing Pursuit Manager

We're hiring for a Pursuit Manager with outstanding writing skills to join our 7 member Portland Marketing and Business Development Team. If you are an energetic and positive professional with at least 3 years' experience managing proposals in the A/E/C industry, and you are drawn to opportunities where you can help a company thrive, we want to talk to you!

What you'll do:

  • Manage pursuits by working with technical and marketing staff to prepare proposals, Statement of Qualification (SOQ) documents, and other materials.
  • Lead and champion pursuit plans, facilitate strategy meetings, manage schedules, write and edit material, and ensure on-time delivery of proposals, SOQs, or other materials.
  • Serve as a key team member of the larger Otak marketing and business development organization, supporting firmwide marketing projects and efforts.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related major.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant A/E/C experience.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong management, interpersonal communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience with MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign and Photoshop, and CRM tools such as Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 including 2 doses of a 2-dose series or 1 dose of a 1-dose series plus 14 days beyond the final dose prior to start date.
