Senior Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant in the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence supporting the Remediation Analytics Team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com.

 

Primary responsibilities for this role include utilizing database knowledge and business process to perform advanced data analysis to accurately identify populations of customers that require remediation and to calculate the refund, account adjustment or other resolution. These roles will support Home Lending, Credit Cards, Auto, Deposit/Banking, Data Operations and Personal Loans and Lines. 


In this role, you will:

  • Review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Perform complex financial and economic analysis
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals


Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Financial Services working with line of business data, which could include Consumer Lending or Non-Lending data, e.g., Auto Lending, Home Lending, Credit Card, Retail Banking, Merchant Services, Personal Lending, Deposits, Wealth & Investment Management
  • 2+ years of SQL and/or SAS experience
  • 1+ year of Teradata experience
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
  • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
  • Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
  • Ability to translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations
  • Experience coordinating multiple tasks within aggressive time frames
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Flexibility to work from home and meet the home eligibility assessment conditions, based on business need
  • Ability to work additional hours as needed
  • Other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint may be considered

Pay Range:

  • $89,000 to $93,000  Approximate Annual Base Pay
  • May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards.
