HEMMANS III on January 08, 2011 I wrote recently about Veterans, even more recent that we need to remember and get our black history straight, Indian and Immigrant history straight and remember. Today by Divine Appointment, I was blessed to meet a hero at Winn Dixie here in Titusville. I took his photo, I bought him a Veterans hat in his honor.. I was in such joy, I did not know what to do with myself afterwards, just couldn't wait... I will explain more in a few. This gentlemen, 90+ yrs young, today is his 70th wedding anniversary, 5 decades of children, I was shocked. He showed me a stamp made of him in his honor. I met the pilot of the movie Tuskegee Airmen that Laurence Fishburne stared in. I was shocked this man gave me the stamp, I had recently mentioned, i did not have much keep sakes from my childhood. He gave me a autograph, he emails, he wants me to correct his story in history. Honestly, something must have gotten in my eyes, they were watery. One of last original Tuskegee Airmen, Colonel Hiram E. Mann. He says movie does not tell all and whole story and out of all the newspaper interviews he has done, no one ever got back with him before printing story... He wants me to write and correct his place, his story in History. February 2011 is Black History month. He trusts me, I ...am going to write his story and turn in the truth to the national media... I promised him, I would turn in nothing until he gave me permission. I told him I believe this is Divine Appointment. My hands are shaking. I called him tonight to talk with him to set interview time. he has his original documents from the 40's, what history thus far will not print. We will talk on Mon, he invited me to his home... The Bible says "Give credit to those whom are due..." I thank God, he answered me beyond my wildest dreams, I was looking forward to interviewing celebrities, Jesus answered me even better, I met a historic hero... The stamp has, "TUSKEGEE AIRMAN FIGHTER PILOT, A Story of an Original Tuskegee Pilot, L.T. Col. Hiram E. Mann" A book has been written about him by Dr. Patrick C. Coggins ISBN 978-1-4251-4732-7 I am going to purchase this Book, do my research... before we talk on Monday. It is important for Col. Hiram E.
