Carmelo Anthony Urges More Athletes to Consider Historically Black Colleges and Universities

Posted By: Will Moss on June 10, 2020

Carmelo Anthony is calling for more top prospects to attend historically black universities when selecting schools to play at.

Melo said quote, “All it takes is one person to change history. It changes college sports because you have a young black kid who is at the top of his game who decided to go to a black university.”

Check out what Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have to say about the idea of top prospects attending historically black universities.

This was as a result of a top high school basketball prospect voicing his thoughts about possibly attending an HBCU.

What do you think? We think his comments are spot on.
