Master P is Working On A $2.5 Million Deal for His Son Who Just Committed to Tennessee State
Posted By: Kennedy Williams on April 26, 2021 Master P's son Hercy Miller could be the first-ever million-dollar college athlete... all while being at an HBCU! Master P recently told TMZ Sports that he has been working on negotiating a $2.5 million contract for his son who committed to play basketball at Tennessee State. “So, right now, I have a deal on the table for Hercy to make $2.5 million,” Master P said of his son. “He never even played a lick of [college] basketball.” Thanks to a pending NCAA rule change that would allow college athletes to control and profit from their likeness. If this rule is approved, it would take effect on Aug. 1 and would be a complete game-changer for college athletes across the country. “Guys that are going to the G League and to these other — they’re not even getting that type of money,” Master P said. “I think the game is going to change after Aug. 1, anyway.” He later told TMZ Sports, "The game is changing. I feel like now, a lot of high school kids are gonna start saying, 'I wanna go somewhere and make history, be a part of the moment and make a difference and also get to the league.'" "I think the spotlight from what Hercy's done is really gonna be on HBCU's and anybody that's watching this that has a kid, don't be afraid to send your kid to a HBCU."
