Media Mogul Byron Allen Partners with Google for Multi-Year, Multi-Platform Deal

According to theGrio, through the partnership, "the tech giant will provide data-driven and secure technology solutions in service of [Allen Media Group] 's current phase of rapid expansion." In a statement about the new partnership, Allen said, "All of our Allen Media Group properties are growing at an unprecedented rate, and our partnership with Google is a key step in our continued global transformation. By leveraging Google's technology, distribution, marketing, ad sales platforms, enormous capital support, and expertise, Allen Media Group will seamlessly build and enhance our reach and revenue worldwide." Allen is no stranger to major boss moves. According to Variety, throughout the course of his career, Allen has acquired seven television stations, has formed Allen Media Group/Entertainment Studios (which has over 23 network affiliates across the U.S.) and has built a media empire that has given him an estimated net worth of $450 million!
