Final Exams Are Here and Taking Toll On College Students.
Posted By: Kenlaun Mitchell on December 02, 2022

Now that the Fall semester has ended on college campuses and final exams are here, along with the post-pandemic mental health crisis, they are taking a toll on students throughout the country.

In addition to post pandemic mental health crisis affecting college students, final exams add to the stress of students who might be victims of post-pandemic mental health.

According to Lilian Florez a UDC college student, “I think that now that finals are here, I do believe college students might be victims of the post-pandemic mental health crisis.

I believe that some students might find it more difficult to work after the pandemic.”

With finals now here, college students are preparing for the biggest exams of their lives, which could cause them to stress. According to Ashvin Trehen from the NJ.com. "While traditional single sitting final exams can cause stress, anxiety, and depression, amongst students it is important to note that the premise of final exams does not hold merit.” Even though college students are now just getting back to the swing of things after returning to campus finals for college students can cause unlimited amounts of stress.
