Prairie View A&M University Established in 1876, Prairie View A&M University is located in Prairie View, Texas. The university is known for its strong programs in engineering, agriculture, and nursing. Prairie View A&M has a diverse student body and a rich history, with notable alumni including astronaut Robert Henry Lawrence Jr. and U.S. Congressman Al Green.
