Base 11 is a nonprofit 501c3 STEM workforce and entrepreneur development company empowering women and minorities with the Access, Awareness, and Belief needed to succeed in Next Frontier Industries of the 21st Century. Our team has been hard at work executing the Base 11 STEM workforce and entrepreneur accelerator model across the country with a focus on transforming diverse students and young adults into the STEM leaders of the 21st Century that industry and our country so desperately needs. Watch this 3 minute video to learn more - https://youtu.be/08M0jSBA1qI Core Responsibilities Implement the overall recruiting strategies for workforce development programs identifying potential candidates for hire as well as prospective internships, apprenticeships and “returnships”. Act as primary interface with partner external human resources teams. Review weekly updates on open positions, internships & co-ops. Source and attract qualified candidates. Prepare recruitment materials and post opportunities. Refresh and update postings weekly. Act as a point of contact and build influential relationships to support outreach and recruitment efforts. Manage innovative programs and innovation challenges designed to significantly increase diversity and representation in STEM programs. Support and manage the development and continuous improvement of recruiting tools for these initiatives either internally or with external partners. Coordinate with sponsors on shared deliverables. Develop methodology to capture and report on metrics quarterly in collaboration with partners and sponsors. Support and expand current university partnerships with Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Minority Serving Institutions and Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives across the county. Expand initial university cohort involved in the workforce development program year over year. Manage all student-sourcing efforts, from recruitment to post-program follow-through. Maintain and/or develop working relationships with: University Presidents, Deans, and other executive staff University clubs, organizations, and departments for marketing, promotion, and recruitment purposes Work with the above to schedule virtual outreach sessions with students for all programs related to HBCU outreach and student or alumni recruitment. Create follow-up reports of students following completion of their program. Ensure that students who participate in these efforts are tracked longitudinally. Execute comprehensive marketing and communications strategies including social media, collateral, blog development, outreach emails that are both student -facing as well as faculty-facing. Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Microsoft Office: 3 years (Preferred) Project Management: 3 years (Preferred) Willingness To Travel: 25% Contact Information
