JR0166461 - Engineer Technician - Night Shift
Engineering Technicians in Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) will be responsible for, but are not limited to:
Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or mechanical troubleshooting to maintain equipment used in the assembly manufacturing processes.
Provides Manufacturing and Equipment support needs in a rapidly changing development and high volume manufacturing environment.
Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
Performs Level 2 and Level 3 preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting diagnosis on production equipment. Resolves non-standard problems, works with minimal supervision, and can adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Works with Engineering to support new equipment installations, sustaining, and process improvement initiatives.
Candidates must be willing to:
Regularly lift to 25 lbs.
Wear closed toe shoes for the duration of shift.
Walk 3-5 miles and stand or sit for up to 9 hours within a shift.
Push carts for a distance of at least 500 m.
Climb and perform work on ladders or at heights.
Spend the majority of work time (more than 90% less break time) in a clean room environment working on tool sets, processing wafers, and standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Work in a clean room environment wearing a bunny suit, hood, booties, safety glasses and gloves for the duration of shift (There may be additional safety Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE) required (masks, face shields, etc.).
Work on a night or day shift compressed work week schedule. Shifts are twelve hours long and rotate from three to four days a week.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Experience listed below would be obtained through schoolwork and/or classes and/or project work and/or internships and/or military training and/or work experience.
Possess a GED and/or High School Diploma with 4+ years of direct industry experience, such as Semi-conductor maintenance or Automotive maintenance or Avionics maintenance, or equivalent military training.
Or possess an associate's or bachelor's degree non-STEM or with 2+ years of direct industry experience, such as Semi-conductor Maintenance or Automotive maintenance or Avionics Maintenance and/or equivalent military training.
Or possess a associates or bachelor's degree STEM
Candidate must possess the degree or expect to complete the required degree by employment start date.
6+ months of experience with one or more of the following:
Windows computer operating systems and Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Electronics and digital circuitry.
End-user computer skills and navigation, electronic systems troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Testing, repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, technical data, and test equipment.
Willingness to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system repair manuals.
Willingness to repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment systems.
Willingness to apply the use of mechanical and/or electrical measuring devices such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, metrology, and calibration equipment.
