We are looking for an experienced, high-energy senior manager to lead our Test Platform Infrastructure team. You will have ownership of engineering execution of Cloud Test Platform CI/CD automation. This includes tools and frameworks necessary to support testing and release builds. You will apply your technical chops, leadership skills, software development methodologies, best practices, and proven processes to consistently deliver great quality product in a predictable manner. You will empower your test engineers and leaders to make the biggest impact possible while guiding them to reach their professional goals.
The role is also an ambassador of quality engineering principles in collaboration with developers and product owners. This role will define quality processes and goals together with Quality Architects, ensure test plans are appropriate including review of plans done by developers. This role will also assist in the definition and creation of tests and scripts to support customer journey scenarios and load tests for contact center features.
The role will manage multiple projects in Russia and Australia with remote hiring and management responsibilities.
Prioritize, plan and provide leadership of Cloud Test Platform Infrastructure team efforts in partnership with the product management team, Development, Quality Engineering teams and Cloud Operations teams
Lead and deliver Cloud Test Platform Infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline automation and new initiatives
Provide technical leadership to create effective automation frameworks and tools for native cloud applications built in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Lead Quality and Automation initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating process definition, best practices and efficient usage of infrastructure.
Participate in Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, Increment planning) to support innovation and enhancement of automation framework and tools through iteration/functionality testing
Work closely with operations and sustaining team to ensure platform availability
Play a key role working with senior leaders in Engineering and Product Management to define long-term technical strategy and product roadmap
Build sustainable engineering practices through, among other things, active code reviews, architecture discussions, guiding selection of technologies, and mentorship
Grow the technical expertise of your teams in areas of performance, scalability, maintainable architecture and experimentation
Ensure continuous resource utilization, and drive continuous efficiency improvements

5+ years in enterprise software engineering leadership role with track record of delivering highly scalable, highly available and high-quality products
Proven track record in leading and managing a team size of 6+
Track record in managing multiple teams in different geographic locations
You have navigated complex technical environments which have grown in complexity due to rapid growth
Strong Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud Operations
Proven experience in building, maintaining, and supporting enterprise SaaS applications
At least 4 years of proven DevOps or Cloud Operations experience with software delivery automation involving public cloud (AWS or GCP).
Knowledge of serverless computing concepts, cloud computing, Docker containers, and Kubernetes
Knowledge of effective CI/CD practice
Hands-on experience managing test infrastructure developed in Java
You are an Agile aficionado
You have strong coaching and mentoring skills
CS/EE degree or equivalent with 5+ years of proven related experience
Experience in building CI/CD automation pipelines
Experience implementing DevOps practices
Cloud platform experience such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience in managing and running multiple Infrastructure automation sprint teams
Experience in successfully leading architecture modernization initiative
Experience managing test infrastructure for real-time SaaS products like Unified Communications systems or Contact Centers in a pure Cloud model.
Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure automation software tools
Solid knowledge of programming techniques and algorithms (OOP, multithreading, script languages such as Java Script or Python)
