Sr Manager Finance

The Senior Finance Manger (FM) will play a key leadership role in scaling our financial infrastructure to enhance planning, forecasting, reporting and analytics across our Global IT, Digital Commerce and Corporate Strategy & Development Teams, while developing and coaching a team of financial analysts. As an influential member of our Finance community, this FM will also strategically partner with our functional leaders to drive P&L optimization by evolving our key expense (maintenance/contracts/human capital) operating model.

The ideal candidate is a high potential, natural relationship builder and problem solver with a keen eye for process efficiency and optimization, as consistently demonstrated through a minimum of 8 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.

Specifically, the Senior Finance Manager will have responsibility to:

  • Engage with our divisional finance teams, and respective business teams to enable their strategies through the global organization.
  • Lead a team of finance professionals to work cross-functionally with division IT, IT shared services, sourcing and business stakeholders to plan, forecast and report on CIS operating costs and capital expenditures
  • Develop and utilize proactive, early indicator reporting metrics to communicate financial risk or opportunities to management, and recommend and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure proper processes are in place to review, approve and track project costs and benefits. Ensures linkage to strategic objectives
  • Lead all month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial and strategic planning processes and reporting.
  • Drive accounting guidance leveraging corporate accounting support, where needed (e.g. use of CapEx vs. OpEx).
  • Be a strategic partner in guiding the organization in the development of “Cost to Serve” models.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance P&L efficiency and productivity.


Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Finance leadership roles.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Accounting/Finance for a multi-national organization.
  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. CPA and/or Masters’ degree (MBA) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. You must foster an inclusive workplace where every colleague feels they belong and can contribute.
  • Accounting software: HFM/Hyperion, SAP, Oracle experience preferred
  • Possess international experience and a global approach to business.
  • Big picture thinker capable of translating strategy into actionable and measurable initiatives.
  • A self-starter with a proven track record of driving projects through to implementation.
  • Management experience, including development of employees.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and an initiative/creativity to drive change with a hands-on approach and an intense focus on results.
  • Clear understanding of the value of metrics and processes.
    Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills. An ability to summarize information and present it in a concise and effective manner to influence other members of the management team
  • A proven record of being able to multi-task and adapt to changing situations and varied demands. Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment on his/her own and handle numerous responsibilities.
