Job Description

Corporate Finance is embarking on a major strategic transformation of the Finance processes and systems in the next 5 years.  The SAP Central Finance (CFIN) application enables financial documents to be replicated in a new Central Finance system which is running on S/4HANA. Central Finance exploits the capabilities of HANA i.e. real-time, speed and agility to replicate financial documents into a central system, giving a real time organization-wide financial view. It creates a common reporting structure for an organization. The tool will be integrated with all source system SAP ERP instances and non-SAP Finance applications, across all sectors of J&J.

This role will serve as the Technology Services (TS) Solution Lead and will set up CFIN configuration, follow-up WRICEF development and testing efforts, drive issue resolution, mainly, get involved into the TS CFIN delivery efforts. The role will closely align with the CFIN Product Analysts.
Technology solutioning and CFIN delivery activities:

•    Set up CFIN configuration (hands-on config work).
•    CFIN Unit testing and System testing.
•    Help following up any WRICEF development.
•    Analyzing incoming demand, projects and requests for change, assessing the potential technical solutions and creation of accurate and complete impact assessments including financial estimates and resource allocation.
•    Help designing architecture that is scalable across all regions and sectors
•    Resolve business and technical challenges in order to deliver on time, within budget and with high quality keeping in mind the end goal of ensuring the realization of business benefits.
•    Ensure the business and technical solution architecture is complete and fit-for-purpose in terms of its ability to address stakeholder requirements.
•    Ensure delivery execution is in alignment with JNJ policies & procedures with regards to documentation, testing guidelines, release management strategy and all regulatory and business requirements. 
•    Work with developers in both an onsite and offshore environment. 
•    Align with the Support Manager to drive issue resolution and proper escalation.
•    Work across multiple Business Technology (BT), Architecture, Product Line (PL) and TS groups to define and deliver innovation solutions.
•    Closely align with BT counterparts to ensure delivery of CFIN is progressing to the plan.
•    Understand CFIN S4/HANA IT product and ability to drive business value.
Process Improvement
•    Challenge the status quo and identify areas for opportunities within existing processes and solutions.
•    Introduce delivery automation processes (testing, release, development control, …)
•    Actively participate in the Continuous Process Improvement initiatives by striving to look for possible efficiencies, scalability and/or cost reduction opportunities.


•    Bachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology or Computer Science or related field is required. 

•    4 years plus of Finance and/ or Business experience is as plus.

•    3 years of related experience or 2 years of relevant Information Technology experience is required.

•    Agile methodology is a plus
•    SAP (S4/HANA) experience is required
•    SAP FICO expert is a plus
•    Strong general SAP functional & technical skills, strong delivery management skills are required
•    Knowledge of enterprise architecture and development methodologies is a plus 
•    Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT application development (SAP), with hands on customizing experience is required. 
•    In depth knowledge of financial business processes and their corresponding SAP transactions (FI CO modules) is required. 
•    Demonstrated leadership, influencing skills, and relationship management expertise is required.
•    Ability to work in a results and performance driven environment where you will be challenged to deliver quality results within the agreed timeframe and budget is required.
•    Good written and oral communication skills are required.
•    Experience with global/regional SAP rollouts is preferred. Experience in managing and delivering complex technology projects is preferred. 
•    Knowledge of security set up in SAP, and testing experience with HP ALM is a plus
•    Agile experience, PMP, HPQC, ITILv3 Certifications or CPA certification are a plus. 
•    Demonstrated process and systems design skills are preferred.
