JOB DESCRIPTION

You’re an original. So are we.

We’re a company of people who like to forge our own path. We invented the blue jean in 1873, and we reinvented khaki pants in 1986. We pioneered labor and environmental guidelines in manufacturing. And we work to build sustainability into everything we do. Our brands stand for freedom and self-expression around the world.

Where we lead, others follow. For more than 160 years, we’ve used the strength of our brands to lead with our values and make an outsized impact on the world. We employ more than 15,000 people globally to support our great brands: Levi’s®, Dockers®, Denizen® and Signature by Levi Strauss & Co.™

We are looking to fill a role that will coordinate US & Canada commercial and advertising samples including the planning, execution, and maintenance to support the wholesale teams for customer engagement. This role is an on-site position based in our NY Showroom and will support the Sales Operations team to execute the sampling strategy and other operational activities that support the US and Canada wholesale businesses. The role reports to the Sr. Manager of Events and will focus on New York City showroom samples but will also support operations across the US and Canada so there may be some travel required.

We’re looking for someone who's flexible, communicative, and organized. The candidate must drive efficiency and demonstrate stellar attention to detail. Candidates must enjoy a fast-paced, non-linear, and collaborative environment and can follow through without being prompted. Candidates must have at least one year of experience in merchandise or inventory coordination. The Sales Operations team has a unique opportunity to partner with many other functions which gives expansive insight into the apparel industry and the corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Operations team to execute sample processing activities across the US/Canada showrooms, manage sample set counts, partner with merchandising operations, and publish shipping information.

  • Manage sales sample lines (approximately 3000 samples seasonally) in the NY Showroom and support other US/Canada showrooms as needed.

  • Support sales teams with organized sample lines in NY and inventories across US/Canada throughout the year.

  • Oversee requests to borrow samples throughout the US/Canada – send and track samples using Microsoft Excel master inventory system.

  • Work cross-functionally with Merchandising to determine appropriate finish and fit stand-ins for unsampled products.

  • Partner with Office Manager and Sales Ops team to execute semi-annual sample sales to purge obsolete samples.

  • Support key customers through Ad Sample orders, manage deadlines and send samples to customers for advertising.

  • Help source, pack, and ship samples for regional trade events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or a combined 4+ years of college education and work experience required.

  • Orientation toward accuracy and enjoys working with data, lists & inventory a must.

  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills and general curiosity.

  • Experience with Excel including v-look-up, pivot tables and data analysis a plus.

  • Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and be able to stand for long periods.

  • Ability to work early mornings and occasional weekends.
