About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Relationship Manager


In this role, you will:

Serve our customers in a centralized environment/location and provides customer relationship management through convenience channels such as phone and email.  Effectively pursues manages and grows profitable account relationships with moderate to complex business needs for businesses up to $50MM in sales size.  Ensures the overall success & growth of an assigned portfolio by deepening relationships of existing customers and managing risk.  Continually partners with existing customers to fully understand their businesses, objectives, strategies, and challenges.  Pro-actively assesses their financial needs for the purpose of formulating a business plan and delivering an effective variety of financial products and services to help the customer succeed financially.  Understands, supports, and may perform effective financial analysis in the areas of credit, cash flow, and collateral.  Effectively partners with other Bankers and lines of business to deliver the full complement of Wells Fargo products and services.  May structure and complete straight forward secured and unsecured business loans.

Region Coverage Senior Commercial Relationship Managers work in five (5) central locations aligned with Commercial Banking regions: Salt Lake City, UT.  This position is in city, state.  You must be willing to live and work in Salt Lake City, UT


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Commercial Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with commercial customers and internal partners
  • Adept in engaging with clients to understand their business and connecting them to products/services to help sustain/grow their business
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-based environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic PowerPoint skills
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, accounting, finance, or another business-related field
  • 4+ years of commercial lending experience, including working with credit opportunities more than $2.5MM
  • Extensive acumen in Treasury Management products/services
  • Extensive/comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Business/Commercial Banking financial products and services
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and is often viewed as a leader amongst peers
  • Understanding of operational, credit, and compliance risk management
