Description

Providence is offering up to $15K Hiring Bonus for eligible external RN candidates who meet all conditions for payment with minimum 1 year of acute/hospital based experience and up to $9,000 for those with less than 1 years of experience - this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment!

RN - Medical Acute at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA

This position will be working 72 hours per pay period, 12 hour night shifts.

Required qualifications:

  • Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire
  • All Registered Nurses without a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) must obtain a BSN or higher within 3 years of hire. RNs with 20 years of RN experience will not be required to obtain a BSN
  • Unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered. If RN holds a multistate license through the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), the RN must adhere to the requirements of licensure in the new state(s) of hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of hire
  • The following certifications are required within 12 months of hire:
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Completion a pre-licensure nursing program and is newly licensed. Length of time since graduation can vary; however, typically is less than 12 months from graduation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing upon hire
  • National certification in area of specialty
  • 12 months acute care experience working with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency at St. Mary Medical Center
